The Dauphin Rotary Club has a new president.
Jean-Louis Guillas, who previously served as Rotary president during the 2010-11 year, has assumed the duties once again.
"The way our club works is you join the executive as a vice president, so you know that in two years time, you are going to be the president. So I have been on the executive the past couple of years, so it is coming along. We take a one-year term as president of the club."
Guillas replaces Darren Eddie, who held the president's role over the past year.

The R-M of Dauphin has a new CAO.
Reeve Ernie Sirski says Grady Stephenson has been hired to replace Nicole Chychota, who left earlier this year o become he new City Manager in Portage la Prairie.
"He is coming here with some experience in municipal administration, which is a real plus for us. He spent a few years in Carberry, and he comes with good qualifications and was highly recommended."
Sirski adds he can not say enough good things about Assistant CAO Tyral Solski, who filled in as the acting CAO while a permanent candidate was sought.
"She has done an admirable job. She has been with the municipality for a long time, but still when yoiu have to step into that role and not only do her own work but also the work of the Chief Administrative Officer, it had to put a strain on her. So we commend her very much for what she did."
