The R.M. of Dauphin has a new C.A.O.
Reeve Ernie Sirski says Grady Stephenson has been hired to replace Nicole Chychota, who left earlier this year to become the new City Manager in Portage la Prairie.
"He is coming here with some experience in municipal administration, which is a real plus for us. He spent a few years in Carberry, and he comes with good qualifications, and was highly recommended."
Sirski adds he can not say enough good things about Assistant C.A.O. Tyral Solski, who filled in as the acting C.A.O. while a permanent candidate was sought.
"She has done an admirable job. She has been with the municipality for a long time, but, still, when you have to step into that role, and not only do her own work but also the work of the Chief Administrative Officer, it had to put a strain on her. So we commend her very much for what she did."
Stephenson's first day with the Municipality is July 28th.
