For Olivia Sheldon and Sydney Wilkinson, Sunday was an opportunity to claim a bronze medal at the u16 women's National Baseball Championships, as they took on Nova Scotia, and win a bronze is what they did, by winning the game, 5-4.

Heading into their game with Saskatchewan on Sunday afternoon at the u14 women's Western Canadian Baseball Championships, Ste.Rose's Brooke White and the rest of team Manitoba were 0-3, but still had a chance for a bronze medal.
