Coco Love Alcorn is a Canadian pop and jazz singer. The daughter of jazz singer John Alcorn, she released her debut album in 1995. She subsequently toured as an opening act for Burton Cummings, Chantal Kreviazuk, Jesse Cook and Ani DiFranco, and performed on some Lilith Fair dates.
She is also a frequent backing vocalist for 54-40, and her music has appeared on television series The Dead Zone and The L Word.
Ontario based (Antigonish, Nova Scotia born) singer-songwriter Coco Love Alcorn and Ste. Rose area bred musician Daniel Peloquin-Hopfner got together over the weekend to play house concerts in Onanole and Dauphin.
Coco's soulful voice soared as she shared material from her past recordings (Sugar, Joyful, Play) as well as songs from her forthcoming collection of "Spirit Songs". Multi-instrumentalist Daniel also contributed some of his songs as well as some rousing bluegrass numbers on the banjo.
The duo hope to return next year to do it all again.
