Road conditions in the area were reportedly very icy. Of the 25 students and 3 adults involved in the crash, one student and one adult were transported via air ambulance to a hospital. Twelve other students were taken to various hospitals in Gimli, Arborg, Hodgson and Selkirk.

Reports say that everyone involved in the crash is now in stable condition.

The students in the crash ranged from 12 to 15 years of age.

As for the crash, alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash, the investigation is ongoing.
