The Parkland U-18 Rangers came home with a split.
Playing a pair of games on the road in Manitoba's capital, it was a perfect start to the weekend for Parkland as they earned a solid 5-2 win over the Winnipeg Thrashers. Parkland ran away with the game by scoring three times in the third period. Quinten Fisk continued to sizzle to start the season as he scored three times while adding one assist.
Cade Legaarden (3) and Dayson Martin (3) scored for the Rangers in the win.
On Saturday, battled hard but came up short against the Winnipeg Bruins in a 7-3 loss. Quinten Fisk (15), Forrest Karlson (4) and Noah Smigelsky (5) scored for the Rangers.
Parkland has won eight of their 11 games this season and have a goal differential of plus-9.
