Police in London say emergency crews are outside the National History Museum after reports that a car mounted the sidewalk and struck pedestrians.
A number of people have been injured police are saying.
The crash happened at 2:20 in the afternoon local time during a busy tourist time in the area.
In a news release, London police also said they have detained a man and that they are currently trying to find the motive.
