Parks Canada is hiring more Park Wardens throughout National Parks in Canada.
 
The expected spike in visitors for this summer is due to Canada's 150th birthday and the parks giving out free passes.
 
Neil Schroeder, a Park Warden with Riding Mountain National Park. talks about the plans for the rest of the summer.
 
"Park Wardens at RMNP just focus their time on the busier portions of the park, so in the town site and out in some of the campgrounds, we are scheduled to work more during the busier times so on weekends, specials events, holidays and additionally we are getting help with is the RCMP is increasing some of their patrols in our town site this year."
 
Riding Mountain was ranked 7th amongst National Parks in Canada with only 3.5% of incidents.
