Donald Trump is now the President of the United States.
In his inauguration speech, Trump said they would be transferring power from Washington, DC to the people.
"At the centre of this movement is a crucial conviction: that a nation exists to serve it's citizens. Americans want great schools for their children, safe neighbourhoods for their families, and good jobs for themselves."
Trump said for too long a small group in Washington have reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost.
The billionaire business mogul said there had been little for struggling families in America to celebrate while the establishment protected itself.
