Dauphin's mayor isn't any more informed on a new Dauphin correctional facility, even after a meeting with the justice minister.
Mayor Eric Irwin was in Winnipeg with some other city representatives for the Association of Manitoba Municipalities meeting. He says he had a 10 minute sit down with Justice minister Heather Stefanson.
The jail is one of the capital projects being reviewed under the new provincial government.
Irwin says the summary of the meeting is Stefanson didn't say they'd be starting to dig tomorrow.
