Morden RCMP have responded to a fatal collision.
On October 26th at roughly 8:15 pm, RCMP from Morden responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 23, approximately two kilometres east of Roland.
Police say, a semi-trailer was parked on the north side of the highway with its hazards on, when a car travelling westbound struck the back of the semi before veering into the south ditch.
The 40-year-old male driver of the semi from Steinbach was not injured, and he was able to get the lone occupant out of the car.
However, RCMP say the 44-year-old male driver from Winkler was deceased at the scene.
An investigation is ongoing.
