Topiary Moose Rebuilt
The topiary moose that was vandalized overnight on Wednesday at Riding Mountain National Park has been repaired. The popular moose that is held together by wire frames and plants was helped back up by a small crane after it had been knocked over by vandals. The statue was designed by world - renowed topiary designer Joe Kyte and built by Park Staff last Summer. The moose if often used as a common Photo Op by people who come and visit the National Park.

Missing Gimli Girl
With just days after finding 17 year old Montana Disbrowe another Gimli girl has gone missing. Gimil RCMP say 15 year old Taylor Webster is believed to be in the Gimli or Portage la Prairie area. RCMP Manitoba tweeted about the missing girl yesterday afternoon and are asking the public's help in finding Webster. Webster was last seen on the night of June 11th.

Manitoba Pride Parade
The organizer of the first-ever Pride March in Steinbach says she is disappointed that the local mayor, Conservative member of Parliament and Tory MLA are all skipping the July 9th event. MLA Health Minister Kelvin Goertzen, declined to comment on the matter but has previously spoken out against same-sex marriage.
MP Ted Falk has said he will be attending other community events that day, including a frog-jumping championship. Steinbach Mayor Chris Goertzen says he will be out of town that weekend. Pride organizer Michelle McHale says given the recent slayings of 49 people at a gay nightclub in Florida, the local politicians are sending the wrong message.

Manitoba Contraband Cigarettes
The Manitoba government says two people have been fined more than two million dollars after being found guilty of possessing almost one-million contraband cigarettes. Craig Blacksmith and Tammy Walters were each convicted of offences under Manitoba tobacco tax laws. Manitoba's Finance Department says each person has been given 10 years to pay the fines and penalties. The charges stem from a 2014 raid by R-C-M-P and provincial tax investigators on a smoke shop at Dakota Plains First Nation.

Bosma Trial
Dellen Millard and Mark Smich are going to jail for a long time. The two men will spend at least 25 years behind bars, after being convicted of first-degree murder in the death of Tim Bosma.
After a taxing 4 1/2 month trail and 5 days of deliberations, the jury reached a guilty verdict towards one of Hamilton Ontario's biggest and most talked about cases. The 32-year-old Bosma from Hamilton disappeared in 2013 after taking Millard and Smich on a test drive in a truck he was selling.
The two men are also charged in the 2012 death of a Toronto woman, with the trial expected next year.
Millard faces yet another murder charge in his father's death, which was originally ruled a suicide.
