One man is dead and another is injured after a two-vehicle collision in Portage la Prairie.
At 12 p.m. Friday, RCMP received a report of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 1 at Angle Road, in the Rural Municipality of Portage la Prairie.
Police say a semi-trailer, being driven by a 21-year-old man from the Rural Municipality of West St. Paul collided with a grain truck, being driven by a 77-year-old man from Haywood, as the truck tried to cross Highway 1.
The 77-year-old was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead, and the 21-year-old was taken to hospital where he was treated for minor injuries and released.
The investigation continues.
