The Dauphin Clippers Rugby 15's women's and men's teams are set to kick off their season tonight.

They'll welcome the Swan River Tigers to the DRCSS field for the first game of the Westman League season.

"Everyone is super pumped up," said Rod Carberry, Coach."Our field is in good shape, and everyone is ready to get things going."

It was a very successful season last year for the Clipper ladies who won the Westman league, but Rod's not exactly sure how this year will go, but he does expect the boys to be a lot better.

"Overall, we have high expectations," said Carberry. "The boy's team definitely has the strength to have success. On the women's side, we definitely have the skill to compete, but we lost some key pieces from last year. We have a decent team, but it's not quite at the same level as last year."

All the action gets underway at 5:30 with the women's game, followed by the men's.
