The Dauphin Clippers girls and boys soccer teams will get the chance to defend their home turf at the provincial championships.
Competing in zones this week, the Clipper boys looked very impressive as they won a pair of games to win the event. First up, they throttled Alonsa, 12-1. Then in an ultra tight game against Swan Valley, the Clippers beat the Tigers, 4-3.
On the girls side, the Clippers played a perfect second half by scoring two goals in a 2-0 win against the Tigers. Dauphin will now host the provincial championships for the boys and girls next weekend, October 13 and 14.
