Dauphin fire responded with two goals in the last two minutes to force overtime. In overtime Souris notched the game-winning goal.

In the A Side final the Elks met with another Dauphin opponent the Blades of Steel. Once again Souris trailed in that game 5-1, but battled back winning the Parkland Source for Sports Novice Classic with a 9-7 victory.

In the B Side final another Dauphin team was in action. The Dauphin Rebels were crowned B Side champs with a win over Neepawa.
