It was a hard-fought series but the Neepawa Natives fell to the Steinbach Pistons in Game 6 of their best-of-7 series 3-1 on Monday night, ending the Natives season.
However, the team is choosing to look back at the postives that took place during the season.

After all, the team had an above .500 record in the second half of the season, a 10-2-2 record in the final month of the season, and a playoff birth for the first time in 7 seasons.

General Manager Myles Cathcart says the team will look fairly similar next year.

"We only lose 2 guys. Tyler Gutenberg and Reigan Buchanan are our 20 year olds, so they're done, and so everyone else is available to return. Whatever people think we looked like this year, it's going to be a good chunk of the guys back next year."

Cathcart later added that Spring camp will be held this weekend from Friday to Sunday.
