It's the end of the road for the Parkland Rangers and their 2016-17 season.
In a do or die game last night, the Rangers fell to the Wild 8-4 eliminating them from this year's playoffs.
The Rangers were down two games going into Winnipeg, with the Wild showing an impressive outing in the Parkland for game two.
After ending the first period tied 1-1, the Wild were able to score four goals in the second and another three in the third. The Rangers were able to score three more goals as well in the third period, but at that point it was too late.
The Wild will now play either the Yellowhead Chiefs or Central Plains Capitals in the next round of the Manitoba AAA Midget playoffs.
