It was a mixed day for the Dauphin Clippers as the MHSAA varsity girls and boys 'AAA provincial championships opened inside Credit Union Place.
The girls team opened their tournament with a three-set loss to Westgate, 14-25, 25-14, and 12-15. Meanwhile, it was a perfect day for the boys team. They beat Stonewall in straight sets to open their tournament, 26-24 and 25-20, before beating R.D. Parker, 26-24 and 25-19.
