Lawson Yates is Championship round bound at the New Holland Canadian Junior Curling Championships.
Yates and the rest of Team Brett Walter came together to beat Northern Ontario, 5-4, in their final round-robin game.
The fifth point was scored in the 11th end and it moved their record to 4-2.
They will now play three more games, all of which come against top teams beginning with a match against Alberta on Wednesday night at 9:00 p.m.
Following that, they will play Saskatchewan and Newfoundland and Labrador. The top three teams out of eight overall advance to the playoffs.
