A new addition has been put into place at the Dauphin Medical Clinic.
Patients that suffer from certain skin disorders can now utilize a UV booth.
Dauphin Clinic Manager, Benjamin Philippe, discusses why having this booth is important to have.
“Well we think there is a demand, most of our patients from the Parkland area had to go through the Brandon Clinic from Dr. Sneath, so we had a discussion with Dr. Sneath from his clinic in Brandon and said he has a lot of patients that need to travel so it would be beneficial if they could be treated here in Dauphin,” explained Philippe. “The patients we have are referred from him.”
Patients will need a referral from a dermatologist to use the booth.
