The Open Forum Emergency Lunch on the proposed corporate tax changes scheduled for Monday, hosted by the Dauphin & District Chamber of Commerce, has been moved from City Hall to the Lion’s Den.

Representatives from MNP will be delivering a presentation followed by an open discussion.

Dauphin & District Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, Stephen Chychota, talks about the overwhelming interest in the event.

“So we have close to 50 people registered at the moment and I do expect we will have a lot more just show up,” noted Chychota.  “This is definitely a topic that is drumming up a lot of interest so I do expect that we’ll have quite the attendance on Monday.”

Although the deadline has passed to register for the lunch, the public is still welcome to take in the presentation portion and the event begins at noon.
