Many are drivers anxiously are waiting for road construction to be completed in certain areas of the Parkland.
Highway 5, between Grandview and Roblin, just recently received the finishing touches on the highway paving job.
Larry Halayko, Executive Director of Construction and Maintenance with Manitoba Infrastructure notes when the final step will be completed.
“For the project, the paving has just been completed, we were doing a little bit of clean-up work on the shoulders sort of thing,” explained Halayko. “Line painting should be expected to be completed out there by the end of next week.”
People are advised to use caution when passing on the parts of the highway where the lines are not painted on yet.
