The 10th annual fund raising Dinner and Grants Awards Presentation for the Ochre River Community Fund is planned for tomorrow night.
The evening will consist of a dinner, various fundraising actives that will all go directly into the Ochre River Community fund, and a formal presentation of this year’s grants. Chair of the foundation Kim Safronetz talks about the grants being given out this year.
“The Ochre River Community foundation it’s a grant that keeps on giving out to the community. Grants this year are going to be over 5 thousand dollars in total going out to different events in the community. For example, Gloria’s Park is receiving a grant. And this year we’re trying to get our balance up to 150,000 dollars in our fund, and it’s our 10th anniversary, and our goal is to get 150,000.”
