The Catalyst Credit Union Mud Run was held this past weekend.

The weather was great with the sun shining, but it wasn’t just the track that needed water to keep the event running smoothly.

With the hot weather, Wanda Sime, Regional coordinator for the parkland Alzheimer’s society and the first aid volunteers had to send someone to get more water!

“It has just been a real warm day,” noted Sime while at the Mud Run.  “We have been going through tons of water.  I sent Renae, my co-worker for more fluids so those runners are pretty warm out there.”

Participants ran through a 10 kilometer trail with over 20 obstacles and were able to raise money for the partnering Manitoba Alzheimer’s society.
