The 17th annual Dauphin Street Fair and Dance is taking place today!
The fair is free to attend and takes place on a blocked off section of main street and 3rd avenue.
Stephen Chychota, Executive Director for the Dauphin and District Chamber of Commerce talks about why the Street Fair and Dance is put on.
"For the community and it is a fantastic opportunity to have a great time on the street. Traditionally it was put on by the Ukrainian Festival to kickoff that weekend and when the Chamber took over it carried through with the tradition having before the August long weekend and still is a great kickoff for CNUF."
Throughout the day people can enjoy live music, kids activities, agriculture heritage displays, and much more.
