Sean and Seamus Nepinak received their sentence today in Dauphin court for the house fire set four years ago that severely burned a teenager who was in the home.

Justice Zinchuk found that the offenders played the same role in the incident and sentenced both brothers on the same convictions.

Sean and Seamus Nepinak were sentenced to 15 years for the Count of arson as to "reckless whether inhabited or not"; 15 years for arson causing bodily harm to Clarence Houle; 4 years arson causing bodily harm to Wynona McKay; and 4 years for arson causing damage to property, with all sentences to run concurrently.

The time credited for time served is 5 years and ten months and they are to serve 9 years and two months.
