CN has announced that CN park will be donated to the city of Dauphin.
Dauphin was previously leasing the park.
Regional Public Affairs Manager for CN, Kate Fenske talks about why the donation was made.
"I know the community has put lots of work in creating a safe and inviting space for residents to use. It really made sense for us to donate that land and to continue the improvements in the park and to say thank you to Dauphin which is a great rail-town and CN community."
This donation comes after the City of Dauphin recently renovated CN Park with a budget of $100,000.
