Yesterday the City of Dauphin celebrated the new renovations to CN Park along with other events.
Eric Irwin, Mayor of Dauphin, talks about why the city decided to invest in the park.
"We wanted to upgrade it, it was getting dark and dingy. We thought this would be a great way to celebrate Canada 150 and our staff did a great job, they changed a lot of things in there."
The budget for redeveloping CN park was $100,000. CN also announced that the park will be donated to the city of Dauphin.
