Students at the DRCSS are taking a break from their studies today, to think about their futures.

The school is hosting their first ever career expo titled, 'Career Conversations'.

Dale Jacobs spoke to students to start the day. He discussed his path to becoming the Owner of Prairie Supply Co. in Dauphin.

Jacobs says that when you're chasing your goals, there'll be speed bumps along the way.

"If you're going to fall, you don't want to fall backwards, you want to fall forwards, and sometimes, that's how you find yourself. I just always had that drive and determination to make it. Somethings you're going to find in life, aren't for yo, but when you find your niche, roll with it."

CKDM's head of Creative Services and Professional Development, René Hübener, spoke at two sessions on the topic of the path through his 37 year broadcasting career.

There will also be a Brandon University information session at the school tonight, beginning at 7 pm.
