Manitoba RCMP have arrested three people on drug and proceeds of crime related charges.
On March 2nd, Manitoba RCMP pulled over a Dodge Durango for travelling 150 km/h in a posted 100 km/h zone in the RM of North Cypress, just west of Carberry.
Upon further investigation, RCMP discovered a small amount of marijuana, and over $200,000 in cash.
Darren Gurniak of Port Coquitlam, BC, and Justin Poitras and Lea Murrell both of Winnipeg, face charges including: possession of a controlled substance, and possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000.
The investigation is ongoing.
