Kelwood is without an indoor skating rink after the building's roof collapsed over the weekend.
RM of Rosedale councillor Duane Stewart says the roof collapsed around 5:30 on Saturday evening. And he says just an hour before, kids were skating there.
"They lock the rink up at 4:30 on Saturday and at 5:30 the thing collapsed. We're very fortunate it wasn't this weekend because we were going to have a big tournament this weekend and we're fortunate it was an hour later than it was."
Stewart says they're hoping there will be enough insurance to get a building up the same size as the one that just collapsed.
Stewart says it collapsed under all the snow.
