A Winnipeg man has died in a two-vehicle collision southwest of Portage.
RCMP responded to a collision onf Provincial Road 244 North around 1:20 yesterday afternoon.
According to initial investigation, a southbound car crossed into the other lane and hit a northbound SUV. The car ended up in the east ditch. The 62-year-old driver was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the SUV, a 33-year-old woman from Norfolk-Treherne, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the road was slush-covered and it was snowing at the time of the collision.
