Saturday is the day for the Endow Manitoba 24 Hour Giving Challenge.
Throughout the day, the Winnipeg Foundation will be matching any and all donations to the Dauphin and District Community Foundation.
For every five dollars donated, they'll add a dollar, all the way up to $2,000.
Dave Bosiak is the VP of Asset Development at the DDCF, and is urging people to donate, because he knows the money will be put to good use.
"What's really interesting about the Dauphin and District Community Foundation, in the last twenty years the foundation has distributed over $840,000 back into the community. And so, the managed funds the foundation is looking after right now is reaching close to 2.5 million dollars."
The 24 Hour Giving Challenge goal is set at $10,000.
