The new chair of the Prairie Mountain Health board is a familiar face.
CEO Penny Gilson says new chair Catheryn Pedersen has been on the board for some time.
"She has been on the previous Assiniboine Regional Health Authority board of directors as well as Prairie Mountain Health for a number of years."
Nine people out of 12 are currently on the Prairie Mountain Health board. The province says where vacancies exist, appointments will be made on an ongoing bases. The province expects the next round of PMH appointments to coincide with expirations in March 2017.
