A saturated field in Dauphin
A Parkland cattle producer says the weather this year is hurting his feed supply.

Jack Bremner, an RM of Dauphin councillor, says some producers can't get their cows out of the pasture, but the greater affect has been on feed.

"A lot of people have gone to corn in the last couple of years, and I walked out in my corn yesterday and just walking in the corn I'm thinking (it's) anywhere from four to six inches deep so we're not going to put a machine in there that weighs 30,000 pounds to chop the corn."

Bremner says he's lucky because he can graze his corn if he has to, but that will cut his yield significantly.
