Fall doesn't officially start until the pumpkins come out, and out they are in the Dauphin Marketplace Mall parking lot.

The Dauphin Health Care Auxiliary is holding its annual pumpkin sale, which began yesterday.

President Kay Lubiniecki says all the money raised goes to the facilities they support, like the hospital and personal care home.

"Quite a few years ago, one of our members in Gilbert said we can use her lot. So we decided we'd grow pumpkins at the suggestion of members who thought it might be a good idea. And it kind of took off from there, so it was really a good fundraiser for us."

Lubiniecki says people can buy a ticket to guess the size of the big pumpkin and the closest guess wins it. That draw happens today.
