Dauphin residents will be walking in support of helping families heal together.
This Saturday, Dauphin alongside five other communities in Manitoba will be participating in the 2nd Annual Red Shoe Crew Walk in support of Ronald McDonald House.
Special events and Community Relations manager for Ronald McDonald House Charities Manitoba, Jan Currier says the event is being spearheaded by a local family.
"Particularly we take care of our own in Manitoba, and so we reached out to five rural regions that will be in this weekend and one of them happens to be in Dauphin... we do have a family there that will be spearheading the event for us and they have used the services of Ronald McDonald House in the past."
The walk is scheduled to begin at 10:15 am, with a light breakfast being served prior at Vermillion Park from 9 am - 10 am.
