Motorcyclists will be revving up their engines all across the Parkland this weekend.

This Saturday, Habitat for Humanity will be having its first Manitoba Motorcycle Ride being held in Dauphin, Brandon, Killarney and Virden.

Dauphin's ride will begin at 9 am, with riders meeting at Smitty's Family Restaurant located on 1601 Main street South.

Habitat for Humanity General Manager - Brandon Chapter - Margaret Schonewillle says Smitty's is a perfect meeting spot for Dauphin riders. She added, "We like to start from a restaurant just so people can have breakfast, make sure that they have their coffee... it's a place well known in town, but its really nice to have that chance to meet with people over a cup of coffee before we head out."

All funds and proceeds raised during the run will be going to Habitat for Humanity's individual local build initiatives.
