St. Rose will be getting into the country spirit once again this Summer.
In nearly a weeks time, the Annual PHA Chuckwagon and Chariot Racing Weekend, will be stopping by featuring a number of events for the whole family.
President of the Manitoba Professional Chariot and Chuckwagon Association, Miles McNarland says the concept behind the event stems down from agricultural routes. He added, "The Agricultural Fair that's kind of where the sport originated, I mean it's kind of a grass-roots level sport is what I would call it... it brings your horsemen out."
Admission is $16 for a 2 day weekend pass, $10 for a day pass. Admission if free for any children age ten and under.
