Federal Co-Operatives Limited is investing $75 million dollars to build two new-state of the art, high-throughput fertilizer terminals in Western Canada.
Construction on the two terminals - one just outside of Brandon -  has recently begun, with facilities scheduled to be fully operational by early 2017.
The Brandon terminal will hold 27 500 metric tonnes of fertilizer while the Hanley, Saskatchewan terminal will be able to store up to 45 000 metric tonnes.
Co-Op headquarters are based in Saskatoon and is Canada's 56th largest company.
