WestJet released it's winter schedule, and with that they have announced they will be keeping the Brandon to Toronto flights.
Flights from Toronto to Brandon arrive in Brandon late-evening and depart from Brandon early-morning four times a week, and it will stay like that starting October 24th.

Spokeswoman for WestJet, Lauren Stewart says this will make it easier for Manitobans to escape the harsh winters.

"It's great because what happens is this Brandon flight gets into Toronto very early in the morning and so, it's going to allow you to connect basically into the entire network." says Stewart.

Stewart adds that this is a flight that has been well requested over the years.

"It's so much more convenient then having to fly to Calgary to go east. Saves you a ton of time and it's going to get you where you need to be a lot quicker then when you had to back track to go anywhere in the east." says Stewart.

WestJet also announced they will be adding more flights from Brandon to Calgary with three additional 6am flights on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
