Dauphin's deputy mayor is taking on another role at Canada's National Ukrainian Festival.
Al Dowhan and his wife Sandra are Hospodar and Hospodenya for this year's festival.
Dowhan says he's looking forward to welcoming all the people that come to the 51st CNUF.
"I've attended many festivals already and to be the official host, and my wife as the hostess of the festival, is a great honour."
The CNUF runs July 29th to the 31st.
