After much preparation, the Walk for Alzheimer's put on by the Alzheimer's Society is today.
Parkland Regional Coordinator Wanda Sime says there is lot's going on today for the walk.
"The Mason's will be barbecuing at twelve noon and they will be selling hot dogs right up until the walk at 7pm. We have registration and money hand in from 5pm-7pm. If you want to come in that time zone you can come grab your supper and then proceed onto the walk."
Sime also says that if you are still wanting to take part in the walk you can, you just have to register first.
"We are not requiring that you have done a lot of fundraising or anything besides that, we just want you to come in and enjoy the evening and show your support for the Alzheimer's Society."
Everything is being held at CN park. The walk starts at 7pm sharp.
