Today cities across Canada are celebrating the 20th annual "National Aboriginal Day" through a series of festivities and events.
Francis Chartrand who is the Vice-President of the Northwest Métis Council encourages all residents of Dauphin to come on out and celebrate in Aboriginal culture. She says, "We're are celebrating our Métis culture... so please everyone come out and celebrate Aboriginal Day with the Métis people in the Dauphin area."
The celebrations end at 2:00 pm and is located at 505 Main St. South.
