An event that is geared to help pay for kids medical expenses is going on 19 years.
Advertising person for the Jamboree, Evelyn Lewandoski says it's hard to believe it's been 19 years.
"We never expected anything like that of course but we are pretty happy about it. We couldn't have done it without lots of help, and lots of volunteers."
Lewandoski says it feels good to help these kids out.
"We have learned so much. Most of these children and these parents are amazing, they face their challenges head on and nothing seems to faze them. It's taught us courage and compassion."
The event kicks off at the Fair Grounds on Saturday in Erickson with events starting from 2pm to 11pm and Sunday from 12noon to 8pm.
Weekend and day passes are available at the gate.
