Another edition of the Gilbert Plains-Grandview Ag Society Fair & Rodeo wrapped up over the weekend.
Ag Society president Kevin Boese says after a rain day on Friday, the skies cleared up, allowing for great crowds on both Saturday and Sunday.
Boese says plans to shorten the rodeo shows on both Saturday and Sunday worked out extremely well.
"The rodeo on Saturday was two hours, 12 minutes, and the one on Sunday was two hours and 26 minutes. So that is exactly what we were shooting for. And, it went very well, and everyone was very impressed."
The Ag Society also debuted a brand new building this weekend, which Boese says was received very well.
Plans are already in the works for next year's Fair & Rodeo, which will also coincide with Gilbert Plains' Homecoming events.
