The province is announcing an additional $100 million towards infrastructure projects for kindergarten to grade 12 schools.
These projects will include speeding up the build of 20 new schools, upgrades to electrical systems, upgrades to libraries, and more funding for arts and athletic programs.
The following schools will receive provincial funding:
Fisher Branch Early Years – replacements to mechanical systems
Minnedosa Collegiate – structural replacements
Ste. Rose School – vocational addition
Swan Valley Regional Secondary School – theatre/band room renovation
Neepawa Area Collegiate Institute – new addition to school
A total of over $260 million will be directed to schools in the province.
