The pop-up vaccine clinic in Dauphin that was supposed to take place on Thursday has been cancelled due to delays in shipments of the Moderna vaccine.
There is a new pop-up clinic taking place this Friday.
It's been reported that some people who had appointments on Thursday have received calls notifying them of the change.
The government says the appointments will be rescheduled based on vaccine deliveries, and people with appointments will be reached out to, to reschedule, either for Friday or a future date.
The new pop-up clinic is taking place from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on April 16th at the Ukrainian Orthodox Hall.
Eligibility to receive a dose of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine -- which are distributed at supersites and pop-up clinics in Manitoba -- is open to those aged 60 and older and First Nation people aged 40 and older.
Appointments can be made by calling the vaccine call centre at 1-844-626-8222.
Health officials announced 114 new cases of COVID-19 and no new deaths Monday.
Nine cases were added in the Prairie Mountain Health region today.
The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 6.2 per cent provincially and 5.6 per cent in Winnipeg. The total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba is 35,327.
The update on variants of concern will come out tomorrow.
There are 1,370 active cases and 33,008 individuals who have recovered from COVID-19.
There are 57 people in hospital with active COVID-19 as well as 78 people in hospital with COVID-19 who are no longer infectious but continue to require care, for a total of 135 hospitalizations.
There are 14 people in intensive care units with active COVID-19 and 19 people with COVID-19 who are no longer infectious but continue to require critical care, for a total of 33 ICU patients.
Today’s new COVID-19 cases are in the following health regions:
• three cases in the Interlake–Eastern Health region
• 36 cases in the Northern Health region
• nine cases in the Prairie Mountain Health region
• four cases in the Southern Health–Santé Sud Health region
• 62 cases in the Winnipeg Health region.
According to the province’s data, there are active cases of COVID-19 in the following Parkland health districts: Swan River (3), Dauphin (0), Riding Mountain (1), Duck Mountain (6), Agassiz Mountain (1), Porcupine Mountain (27), Asessippi (9). Brandon has 13 active cases.
In the Interlake, the Eriksdale/Ashern health district has no active cases of COVID-19. The Fisher/Peguis health district has two active cases.
