Public health is announcing 8 deaths today due to COVID-19, and 475 new cases.
Two of those deaths are residents at the Gilbert Plains Personal Care Home — a man and a woman, both in their 90s.

An outbreak has been declared at St. Paul’s Personal Care Home in Dauphin, and the site has been moved to critical red on the Pandemic Response System.
The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 14 percent provincially and 13.7 percent in Winnipeg. The total of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba is 12,482.
There are 7,629 active cases and 4,655 individuals who have recovered from COVID-19. There are currently 263 people in hospital with 43 people in intensive care.
The number of deaths due to COVID-19 is 198.
Today’s data shows:
• 12 cases in the Interlake–Eastern health region;
• 55 cases in the Northern health region;
• 13 cases in the Prairie Mountain Health region;
• 124 cases in the Southern Health–Santé Sud health region; and
• 271 cases in the Winnipeg health region.
The following Parkland health districts have active cases: Dauphin (4), Riding Mountain (11), Swan River (9), Porcupine Mountain (6), Duck Mountain (3), Asessippi (9), Little Saskatchewan (10), Whitemud (24), and Agassiz Mountain (1).

In the Interlake, the Eriksdale/Ashern health district has 74 active cases. The Fisher/Peguis health district has 136 cases.
Public health officials are also advising that anyone who is symptomatic, or has a household member who is symptomatic, the entire household needs to self-isolate pending COVID-19 test results.
Exposures Reported By The Province
A possible exposure has been reported at the Extra Foods in Swan River on November 10 between 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Anyone at the business on this time/date should monitor for symptoms, and if symptoms develop: seek testing and self-isolate.
The eight deaths due to COVID-19 reported today include:
• a male in his 60s from the Winnipeg health region and linked to the outbreak at the Keekinan Centre;
• a male in his 70s from the Winnipeg health region and linked to the outbreak at Maples Long Term Care Home;
• a male in his 70s from the Southern Health–Santé Sud health region and linked to the outbreak at Rest Haven Nursing Home;
• a female in her 80s from the Winnipeg health region and linked to the outbreak at Maples Long Term Care Home;
• a male in his 80s from the Southern Health–Santé Sud health region and linked to the outbreak at Rest Haven Nursing Home;
• a female in her 90s from the Winnipeg health region and linked to the outbreak at Maples Long Term Care Home;
• a male in his 90s from the Prairie Mountain Health region and linked to the outbreak at the Gilbert Plains personal care home; and
• a female in her 90s from the Prairie Mountain Health region and linked to the outbreak at the Gilbert Plains personal care home.
